So far many of our blog posts have discussed what sort of adventures and good times you can have while living at AV8. Although you are living in Little Italy, you are close to some great towns that are worth visiting. That includes Old Town.
Restaurants in Old Town
One thing that Old Town is known for is their Mexican cuisine. With a vibrant community, some of the best Mexican restaurants are El Agave and Casa Guadalajara. If you choose El Agave we highly suggest ordering their quesadilla. El Agave also has some of the best tequila. So for those looking to drink and eat, this is the restaurant to do so. If you want delicious enchiladas then make your way over to Casa Guadalajara. Also, for those of you who love Japanese food, Harney Sushi has some of the best sushi in town. All that said, when you are in need of authentic Mexican cuisine, Old Town is the place to go.
Historical Old Town Buildings
There are also quite a few landmarks in the area. Take for instance the Old Town State Historial Park. Here you can take a glimpse into the 19th-century homes and businesses that show off the San Diego colonial lifestyle. Also, for those of you who are into ghosts, there apparently have been ghost sightings in the area. Speaking of, there is also the Whaley House Museum, which is one of two official haunted houses in California. Lastly, there is the Junípero Serra Museum where you will find beautiful homes that perfectly reflect San Diego during the 1800’s.
It is true that nothing beats living in Little Italy. However, the opportunity for good times all around San Diego is endless. No matter what you choose to do, you can expect nothing but excitement while exploring Old Town.Back To Main
